XMMS and winamp themes

I have tried to use winamp themes with XMMS as all the howtos say, by renaming it to *.zip and putting it in the correct directory. But when i select the winamp theme in XMMS it remains on the default theme. All the XMMS themes work exept for the winamp ones.

Any Help appreciated.

What about the SKINS_DIRECTORY(check it out) variable.
Try reading /usr/share/doc/xmms-blah/readme.

crank up xmms if it isn't already rockn

hit these keys

alt s

and select:
Breedamp_-_Organica

WINAMP 3 SKINS DON'T WORK

you must use winamp2 or earlier

yeah, .wsz and .zip files work just fine - just put them in your (hidden) /home/user/.xmms/Skins directory

.sz files didn't work btw

thanks for the help, I was using winamp 3 skins.
