Xmms album list 2.2
 

Just began migrating my main pc to mandrake after the relative success of it on my p2p server.........

All going very smoothly so far...even made automatic entries for my ntfs partitions with my mp3's on!!! (very impressed)

Sound was an issue but i think i had the wrong driver so i have that now working too......but then it comes to playing mp3's..

Ive downloaded albumn list 2.2 but i dont know how to install it run it or point xmms at it..........

i typed make and made 2 more files but they dont seem to anything either

I typed make install as root and it did some stuff but i cant see a difference.

root@amdxp2000 xalbumlist-2.2]# make install
cp xalbumlist.pl xalbumlist

cat xalbumlist.glade >> xalbumlist

install -m 755 xalbumlist //bin/


Any help would be ace!!!

If you've installed xalbumlist successfully (never used it myself, but it's probably: "./configure && make && make install") , try running it with "xalbumlist".
