xmgrace to parameter fit w/ error bars as weighting

I am attempting to use xmgrace to plot a parameter fit to a data set, but I need to use the error bars in the data set as weighting for the fit. As far as I can figure out, xmgrace is only capable of weighting according to functions and not discrete data points. Anyone know how to weight according to the data error?
