Post XMail problem

Good day,

I've got a problem with setting up an emailserver. I want to use the router/firewall I have to receive and send email for my domains "opsventus.com" and "windkracht8.com". After searching for the right program to use I've found XMail. It looks like a nice easy program to install and configure. So I downloaded the RPM and installed it. After reading the readme I started to edit the .tab files. But after a reboot of the system XMail still uses the standard configuration. In the dir domains there still only one dir for xmailserver.test. I've try'd the forcereboot XMail but I still won't pick-up the changes in the tab files.
The only thing I can find is that the spool/*/* doesn't have a "lock" dir as the readme says it should.
Is this the problem? or doesn't it mather?
If not what can I do to make XMail pick-up the changes is the *.tab files?

Thank you for your time.
