xinerama + nvidia = mouse trouble in Quake2

Just today I have found a work around for a hangup problem I've been having for over a year, so I wanted to go play some Quake2 (yeah, I know it's old, but it still kicks ass =)

Anyway, if I use xinerama (I have a S3 Trio (primary) and GF2 (secondary)), when I use the mouse in Quake 2, it doesn't move very much.

I have already turned off dga (in_dgamouse 0), because I know dga and Xinerama don't mix.

If I disable Xinerama and restart X, the mouse works just fine in Q2.

How can I get my mouse to work normally in Q2 while still using Xinerama?
