XINE_UI help!

after alittle trouble with correct packages and adding the path, i could finally ./configure xine-ui. but upon trying to "make install" i ran into this problem and was unable to find any help via the net. does anyone have any comments or suggestions? also could this problem be attributed to the version/method i used to install xine-lib?
xine information: xine-lib-1.0.1, xine-ui-0.9.23
linux information: Linux SUSE 9.1, kernel 2.6.5-7.151-default
make install error: says the curl_config cant be located

thanks, mike

The best thing to do is download and install Synaptic - which is the front end for apt-get. After that you can just point and click to get any package installed on your computer and it resolves the dependencies too.

Just my two bits.

Well, you haven't been very specific in what you're trying to do. If you don't need to install from source, I suggest you don't (it's easier not to).
Since you haven't said what distro you're using, I sugest you use whatever package manager your distro uses to install xine and it should install the needed dependancies too. If you use apt-get, then you could use aptitude instead of synaptic, or just:
# apt-get install xine
