hey..

when i try to run a dvd I get my dvd menu screen.. but when I click to play movie Xine stalls and does nothing...
any suggestions?

Make sure you've set up your dvd device in Xine settings. Run Xine from the console and post the output when it freezes.

Ok, I'll have to try that when I get back from school... but thanx alot, if you don't mind me asking, what is post output mean??
is it a command... I donno i might be able to figure it out after... thanx alot!

i have a similar problem. when i run dvds xine can be sluggish. it takes a while to respond but when it gets going its fine. just takes a while and can be frustrating.
