xine installation ok but still...

Hello

I recently installed xine following the directions given by the xine website and everything looks okay when I run the video player but when I run xine-check it tells me :

[OUCH!!] There are no input plugins.
xine needs at least one input plugin, but none is installed.
You should probably reinstall xine-lib...
press <enter> to continue...

[OUCH!!] There are no demux plugins.
[OUCH!!] There are no decoder plugins.
then same for video_out and audio_out plugins

So I reinstalled the xine library and I made sure it's the version that fits the xine package

I tried several things and nothing worked. And nothing changed: xine crashes sometimes but run ok most of the time.

Did I forget to perform an installation step ? The library and the xine main package do no seem "linked" (see above)

Thanks for your help folks!
