i can watch movies fine on xine, but i need to turn the bass down because with loud volume during action scenes my (cheap) pc speakers get hit way too hard at the low-end...
i can't find an EQ anywhere in my xine...
what do i need to do in order to have an EQ on xine??
okay i installed kaffeine 0.5-rc2 on my slackware 10.0 (just to try) using the package from http://www.linuxpackages.net but when i started it for the first time i got an error about a missing kaffeine "part" or something like that... it only came-out the first time i ran it... now it starts and i can see video but i have nothing in the "player" menu... i'm guessing the EQ and stuff are in the player menu, right??
also, where does kaffeine store user configuration?? i've looked for a ".kaffeine" in my home folder but can't find one... i want to eraseme it so that i can look at the error i got the first time i ran it again...
kaffeine 0.5 rc2 is an add on
install the kaffeine 0.4.3 first
in the 0.4.3 player ,there is an option of settings, where u can find the video/audio settings
oh, okay... hehe... so i only need the 0.4.3 then, right?? it'll work without that -rc2 package??
i went back to linuxpackages.net to get the 0.4.3 package and it's listed, but the file seems to be missing on all the mirrors... pretty weird... take a look:
