xine and totem question(easy fix)


ok i just got my win32 codecs in and all kinds of other multimedia goodies. now when i play videos in totem or xine the movies are covered with a green and purple film(kinda looks like a photoshop filter ) but its moving. anyone know how to fix this ???

Have U got all the Libraries right for Xine:
You could check them here:
http://xinehq.de/index.php/download

OR
You can try and install the VLC player for UR distro
I think the command for yum would be something like:

yum install vlc

in terminal

Yes, I'm not too fond of that whole Totem thing either; there's always something that appears to be missing. mplayer, mplayerplug-in and vlc are way better.

Yeap, get mplayer. It has the best support for various media.

There is also command something similar to xine-check (which checks for xine sanity and reports errors).
