Question Xine and Totem give error when trying to read DvDs.


Hey all, finally got my DVD player set up only to find I couldn't watch me movies!

Here's my attempt with Totem:

And I get an error about not being able to read NAV packet.

Both are being run under root as I don't have my other users set up right to use the DVD drive. I think I installed libdvdcss right but i'm never sure, I also think i installed libdvdread. Totem also is able to atleast diplay the name of the movie in the control window. Thanks in advance all! :D

you need to download libdvdcss and libdvdread from linuxpackages.net

Is there any way to check to make sure I have them both installed, also both make references to using libdvdcss, so wouldn't that mean its installed?
