Cool Xine and "Pan and scan"


Is it possible to get Xine to "pan and scan". ie. zoom in on the center part of the video and cutting off the edges to create a TV like feel. Or to do a custom "pan and scan" like BSplayer ?

Does no body know ??? This is possible in other DVD players . There must be a way for Xine , but how ??
