xgl on red hat or not?


simple question to start: can I get xgl working on red hat or can't I?

Should be able to get it working, but doesn't RH have something like AIXGL as a replacement for XGL? Or is that just something in the works at present?

yes but when I press in aiglx on google I find barrely anything and with xgl I find lots of things, so Iguess xgl is better?

Not necessarily better; just available now. Google on the search terms: xgl "red hat". You should turn up a tutorial for getting xgl working on SuSE 10.1. Ignore references to YaST and SaX. The tutorial includes examples of file edits to make in your xorg.conf.

hmm.. can you give me the link because I do not find it.. but I don't think it is smart to do it on a red hat-box? maybe I should try aiglx but I don't find any howto voor red hat either for that.. is there no eye candy for red hat then :P
