XGL + ATI Radeon 200M

I have a HP laptop (ZV6130us) which has the ATI Radeon 200M graphics card. I have looked for other similar setups, but cant find a way to get XGL running with this. Is it possible? If so how? Right now I am using Suse 10.2 and get that it wasnt found in the database after I run "gnome-xgl-settings". Also it says 3D acceleration is disabled, is there a way to enable it? Thanks

1. Install the ati driver so you have 3d.

2. Read opensuse.org/xgl which even suse help will tell you to read if you want xgl.

OK, I got the driver to install for the SUse 10.1 build, without problems, but when I try to install XGL, it says 3D acceleration is disabled still, so how I can enable it with the ati driver?
