Xfree heavy load

Hi!
Sometimes when I working(or gaming in X, it holds but mouse still can move. I can ping and ssh this machine from other. I can see 98 -100% CPU load by X in top. Only reboot helps in this case. Help please if you know what caused X to take all resourses and hold machine.

I thought so. I also use the nvidia drivers, and have the same problems! It seems some problem with the nvidia drivers, and I too have to reboot to work again. The generic drivers that come with linux does not seem to do this, then again, you can't play games with them. Our only chance is to see if nvidia does not screw up the next time....
