Xfree & Nvidia error
 

i'm running the latest nvidia drivers and latest kernel, 2.6.4, on a debian system. and i get this error while loading X,
(II) Initializing extension GLX

*** If unresolved symbols were reported above, they might not
*** be the reason for the server aborting.

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

if i comment out, # load "glx", x loads fine but of course i can't do any opengl apps. This is XFree86 version 4.3.0. Thanks in advance.

what drivers are you using (version)?
and did you mistakenly leave Load "glCore" or Load "dri" ...
if so, comment them .... or just remove the lines ...

i did leave them in there but i commented them out and i still got the same error, this is using 5336 nvidia drivers.

all fixed up, had 5326 installed and not 5336.
