Xfig: anybody knows it?

Kernel 2.6.21.5, slackware 12.0
Xfig 3.2, patchlevel 4

Hi: I know how to do lots of things, except the last and most important: how to save the drawing. The dialog box just won't let me do it. I can fill it with all the details, but the box for writing the file name does not have a cursor and I can't therefor write the file name!

It's very frustrating. The documentation does not enter in details. And a google search with strings like XFIG REFERENCE always send me to the same damn pdf help file (the help system is written in the form of a unique PDF file).

EDIT: solution: invoke with a filename as argument to the program. Example: xfig diagram_to_draw.ps

Removed from the zero replies list. Glad you found a solution. I must admit, I couldn't reproduce the issue with Xfig on 13.37. I think Dia is a bit more user-friendly, though .
