Question xfce4 panel

I suddenly have lost my xfce4 panel. I have restarted and I don't get it back. I try to run it and get the following error:

Code:
$ xfce4-panel
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x08411060 ***
Aborted
Any ideas how to fix this?

try removing the xfce4-weather and xfce4-minicmd plugins. i read in the arch linux forums that those are broken with the latest version of gtk2. i was having the same problem, then removed those packages. now my xfce4 panel comes up just fine.
