Unhappy xfce4 error at start


I've some problem whit xfce..
(user) if i start with gdm, i've an error due a session closed after 10 seconds.
(user) if i start this with a startxfce4 i've return a lot of message about X
(root) if i try start whit root user (gdm o startxfce), xfce works!
(user) if i login whit fluxbox and opena terminal and run xfce-session xfce starts!

someone can help me? i want start xfce with gdm or startxfce4 by the user!

PS: .xsessions-errors output is:
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/X11R6/bin/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "bako"

Failed to load groupfile:
apps file failure
