Xfce won't work; XFWM doesn't load

XFCE won't work with me : (

I was messing around with the transparencies tab thingy, it crashed X, now I'm stuck with IceWM.

Is there a quick way to revert to settings from like yesterday or something?

There doesn't seem to be a .xfce directory, which is odd; I could have sworn there was one before... There's no .xfwm directory, either.

Please help!

you could try repairing the installation or reinstalling it
