XF86 Modes/TVout Question
Hi,
I've got my Screen set up: SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "1600x1200@75Hz(VESA)" "1280x1024/85Hz" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" Virtual 0 0 EndSubSection Is there anyway I can get it to NOT pan around resolutions if I drop from the largest (1600x1200) to lower resolutions. By this i mean, when I'm in 1600x1200, my standard resoltion which I prefer, if I drop to say 1024x768, its still a 1600x1200 resolution image but can only see 1024x768 size part of it at a time, and need to pan around to see the rest. Can this panning be turned off? I need this as I would like to be able to drop my resolution to 1024x768 (For TVOUT) then run movies/videos/games in full screen and not have them pan off the screen. Any help would be much appreciated. kwiksand |
Hi.
KDE 3.2 has a utility called 'krandrtray' which can change X's resolution on the fly properly. Dave |
Ah, thankyou very much
