xclock as desktop background?


Hi!

I wonder if one could use an app, such as xclock, as desktop background?

I know you can use a screensaver as your desktop because it can draw in the root window, but I don't know about a normal application like xclock.

Yeah, that's a great idea! Though I then wonder if anyone knows of a screensaver that just displays a plain clock?
