xchat2 and latin-2

I need help setting xchat2 to use ISO-8859-2 (latin-2)
it's getting quite annoying, because I can't join several channels and I can't see some letters ...

I use KDE 3.2.2 on gentoo ... KDE is configured to use slovenian language, and I think it's using ISO-8859-2, I'm not sure tho (it seems to be working )

if you don't get the Server List at startup, open it from the menu. then, choose the server you use and check the "Edit mode" -box at the bottom - now you can choose your charset from the drop-down list. when it's done, uncheck the "Edit mode" and connect to the server normally...easy as that
