I am a total newb when it comes to linux. i use redhat 9. but i have been having trouble with getting xboard to work. i get it on there and it says something about xgnuchess not starting and then something about a broken pipe. can someone please tell me what this means or tell me where i can find a good version of xboard that will work with redhat 9
Did you download and install this yourself? I am not at my RH 9 box right now, but if you look in the games section, there is a chess game. Did you try that one?
yeah i downloaded it in a rpm and another scource with the makefile and it doesnt work. im not at my redhat box now either but i know there is no chess game with linux
