xawtv + screen size

heyllo.

I have hard time with the acctual screen size of xawtv. Here's the thing:

When i start xawtv it shows a normal smal window that says my correct resolution (1024x768). The problem appears whn i switch to fullscreen model. i acctually get the full size screen, but the picture on TV is only 640x480, around the picture is black.

I'm running RH8, Nvidia Geforce2 (32Mb).

Any advice? Maby another TV app?

I think thats just the way it is... I beleive Xfree86 will actaully need to change resolution to 640x480 to make it 'full screen'.

I've expirienced the same problem with using mplayer within the freevo project
