xawtv question
hi all!
I have searched before a few times for an answer to this one: is there any way of clipping the edges of the picture, I want to do this because i have annoying dots at the top of the screen. these are part of the video signal and are normally cropped by adjusting the vertical height on a normal television set, but there appear to be no commonplace settings within .xawtv that I have found to do this. I will explain differently if you don't understand the question!!! many thanks |
are you sure your using the right tv-norm? When I have the wrong one set there is stuff like dots and such.

I have tried all the pal settings:
pal palm paln palnc i am in the uk and, if i remember rightly we use paln, however when i use paln it gives a distorted picture (syncing is bad?). The only one that works is pal. I am using a voodootv/fm card (bt878). Audio doesn't work either, but i just use line in:) |
