Xandros 4.0 problems

I have been running Xandros 4.0 since it came out, I am having problems that I have no idea how to fix.
My browser firefox that was installed on the initial installation become corrupted, so I
went to the Xandros Networks and removed it, then went to new applications to re-install and I got the message
"Package firefox 1.5 has no installation candidate"
So I went to admisistrator console and run the following:

Password:
XANOSCDG624:~# apt-get update
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/main Packages
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/main Release
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/contrib Packages
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/contrib Release
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/non-free Packages
Hit http://xnv4.xandros.com unsupported4.0-xn/non-free Release
Reading Package Lists... Done
XANOSCDG624:~# apt-get clean
XANOSCDG624:~# apt-get install firefox 1.5
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package firefox 1.5 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package firefox 1.5 has no installation candidate
XANOSCDG624:~#

Now when I went to the Xandros networks, The firefox browser has no install
button, and say's that "not available from current application sources.
This is happening on all my downloads from Xandros Networks. Everytime I try a
download I get an error box with 3 to 5 errors in it. Is there anyway to re-install this
application without losing all my information? I have a lot of personal info in this machine.

Please Help!

Try apt-cache search firefox

The actual package may not include the version number. On your apt-get install, you need to have the package name exactly right.
