[SOLVED] Xampp phpmyadmin

In status section MySql Database's Status is Deactivaed....

Try running the command to stop xampp,

Code:

/opt/lampp/lampp stop

then running the command to start it.

Code:

/opt/lampp/lampp start

Post the output of the command here.

It should look something like this:

Stopping XAMPP for Linux 1.7.7...
XAMPP: Stopping Apache with SSL...
XAMPP: Stopping MySQL...
XAMPP: Stopping ProFTPD...

Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.7.7...
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)...
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP for Linux started.

Run 'chmod 644 /opt/lampp/etc/my.cnf' as root and restart XAMPP. If that still doesn't start MySQL run mysqld manually with the "--print-defaults" switch and add the printed defaults to start "mysqld_safe -v" to see why it won't start.
