x11 stalls
 

i just installed red hat 9 and x keeps stalling. is there some log i can look at to try and find out the problem? i looked at /var/log/XFree86.0.log but it only contains start up messages and nothing from when it stalls. By the way, there are no errors in that log on startup.

See what is logged in /var/log/messages.
