x windows stil not wrking


hi ,

i have installed caldera v 1.3 into my computer.

there are errors like :

1. errno 111 " unable to connect to x server

2. errno 3 "server error "


computer says cannot find config file


pls help

sounds to me like it can't find the XF86Config file it is trying to read the configuration from. If this is version 1.3, you might want to find a later version to try and install. What kind of video hardware do you have ?? Later version most likely has later updated Xfree86 dirvers and version which will most likely or probably have better support for your video/X configuration.
