X nvidia problem

Hi, I am trying to configure X for my nvidia geforce 6200 which has a tv out on it.
However when I start X the mouse works fine but the screen is like very blurry tv static with no discernable windows or anything, I can't see any errors in my Xorg.0.log either, but I'll post it anyway.

I am using Gentoo using kernel 2.6.15

do you have the best/newest drivers installed for the card.

is your video card settings correct.. if not, you can damage your screen.

good luck, let us know.
