X includes and Quanta

I am running RH8 with KDE and I want to install Quanta.
I do the first step and run the command ./configure and it stops with the errror:

configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

What are x includes? Are includes some kind library? I did some reasearch and found out that x.h is part of what I need and that it should be in the /usr/include/x11 directory, but x11 doesn't exist. I then do a search to find x.h but no avail. Where can i get this x.includes? Thanks!

I found my problem, I didn't have the Xwindows and KDE Software Development packages installed. These packages installs all the necessary libraries.
