wvdial and pabx's
 

For some reason, wvdial seems to not want to play the game when going through a pabx. I have read that it doesnt like unclean lines etc, and going through a pabx, can cause probs. But this prob seems to be consistent. The prob is a no carrier error. I do have no carrier set in the conf, but whenever I stay in a motel, wvdial wont work for me. Works flawlessly over an ordinary phone line. I tried the stupid mode option as well, to no avail. Google shows not much too do with pabx's, but its deffinately a prob with that sort of system. Have read the pppd man page, but it doesnt seem to have to much info either. Any ideas appreciated.
