Writing to linux using Ext2fs & Ltols.

Has anyone used Ext2fs to write to there linux partition?
If yes can you tell me if its safe. The Ex2fs manual says its not safe. Warning!!! do it at your own risk.

I recently downloaded LTOOLS. The manual gives the same warning, implying its not safe to use Ltools to write to Linux.

So has anyone tried it without problems?

I haven't tryed writing to an ext2 file system from outside of linux.
If you want to try, create a small partition of type ext2 and try writing something on it. If, when you start linux, you get an error message, try to fix the partition with fsck. It should work.

But DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Tell me if it works!
You can also try it under ext3fs. I believe it's mostly an ext2 with minor changes. You should be able to write to that too!

Good luck!
