wprint output

I am a linux user in cyprus where the native language is greek. I visit a lot of greek webpages and i noticed that i can't print them if they are written in greek because all i get is strange characters and spaces. During my googling around i found a program called wprint that with some configuration and substitution of the lpr command in the mozilla print menu you can print greek (including other language) webpages.
The problem i have is that although i can now print the page, the spaces between words are all wrong.
E.g. If i want to print this sentence in a webpage: "I am a new user of Linux in Cyprus and i use Fedora Core 1 as well as SuSE 9.1 Pro"

During output (in a .ps file or directly to my printer) i get without "___":
"I am______a___ new___user __________ of
___Linux_____in___Cyprus__and_i_use_Fedora____Core__1
as_well______as__SuSE______9.1__Pro"

The margins and the rest of the print options in mozilla are set to default.
Do you have any idea how to fix this. This problem and the fact that my HP Scanjet 2400 is not yet supported by Sane are the only things keeping me back from migrating completely to Linux. I really have to find a way to print pages the way they appear on my screen and not how a program wants them to appear.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks in advance.

Same Issue

I am also using suse 9.3 and having problem finding drivers for HP ScanJet 2400.
I have find so many people want that driver. SANE (http://www.sane-project.org ) currently do not support this device too.
But they are working on it and may be in new release we got some thing.
