Working iTunes server for headless Debian 6
Hi,
Can someone advise me on a working method for sharing music and videos from a headless Debian server to Macs and an iPhone on the LAN such that they show up in iTunes 10/11 as a Shared Library?
I know of Firefly, mt-daapd etc., but I'm having trouble determining which ones actually function with the latest iTunes. I know that Apple broke the compatibility a while back (iTunes 10, I think), and I'm having trouble determining whether any of the Linux-based server solutions ever fixed this.
All my music files are ALAC, and all the video files are H264/MP4.
Thanks.
