wolfenstein won't start

i'm running slack 9.1 on kernel 2.6.3 and my graphics card is the integrate i845g. When i try to launch enemy territory via et.sh all that happens is my resolution changes to something ridiculous like 450x400 or something and nothing happens after this. Also, when i try to change the res back via gnome's screen resolution option, the screen resolution app doesnt start and crashes.

Anyone have any ideas? im hoping for a relativly simple fix.

I have the same exact problem.. It seems to happen more so when I have teamspeak2 running. Any information would be considered a great asset.

This problem was actually solved quite some time ago. All that was needed was a little editing of my X.org config so the dri and glx drivers loaded.
