I'm running it on SuSE 10.0 64bit Eval with KDE and have installed the w32codec-all RPM, and I'm trying to get a WMV to play in Kaffeine/Xine, but I can only hear the audio, theres no video (just black).
Hmmm... that kinda sucks. Depending on how desperate I get, I might replace xine with a 32bit version, then would WMVs work? Would I need a 32bit Kaffeine as well? What about libdvdcss?
Distribution: RHEL/CentOS/SL 5 i386 and x86_64 pata for IDE in use

Yes with the 32-bit xine the codecs will work. I'm not 100% sure about Kaffeine since I do not use it, but I believe it needs to be 32-bit also. And finally yes libdvdcss and libdvdread needs to be 32-bit, actually libdvdread needs to be mixed mode(both the 32 and64-bit packages) installed.
