wmctrl or devil's pie not able to move firefox

Hi, I have been trying with these two programs to move Firefox in fullscreen from desktop 1 to desktop 2 but failed. The same command I'm able to move Firefox if it not in fullscreen. The command I use is wmctrl -r Firefox -e 0,0,0,-1,-1, same problem with devil's pie. I'm able to perform other task example rename the title. I have a dualscreen setup. Thanks in advance.

Hi SqdnGuns, thanks for your reply. I'm using Xubuntu 8.04.1 i386 desktop and Firefox version 2.0.0.16. I have tried using command wmctrl -r Firefox -N Test when Firefox is in fullscreen, the title does change.

Something similar

I have some similar issues with wmctrl. I am using this on CentOS 5.2 running inside a VirtualBox 2.1.2 VM.

wmctrl -r 0x02e00080 -e 0,0,0,1024,768 -i

This does move and resize Firefox to 0,0 with a width of 1024 and height 768. However as soon as I click anywhere within the Firefox window or activate it it jumps 15 pixels to the right.

Are you experiencing this too?

Thanks

Mike
