wma support for XMMS in Debain?

As a total newbie, I searched around and saw a site with a xmms-wma package thingy in .rpm format, and downloaded it. Turns out Debian isn't so good with .rpm files. So I've been searching for a .deb file or something I could use in Debian, but alas.

http://www.rarewares.org/debian-audio-playback.html claims the existence of a xmms-wma package for Debian, but I've found no such thing.

So, since I'm using Debian, (how) can I play .wma files in XMMS?

Thanks!
Jake

You can use alien to convert the rpm to a deb (run "man alien" to find out how to do this) and then install the resulting deb with dpkg. An alternative would be to compile from source.
