.wma on linux


I have a lot of .wma files is there an app that will let me listen to them on linux (I have Slackware 9.1)

I had the exact same problem, so when I saw this, I decided to fix it. Wonderful plugin for XMMS that you can download here. Very painless make; make install installation, and it works perfectly. If you have issues I'm using XMMS 1.2.9 stable, so it could be a version issue, but it seems to be flawless on my end. Enjoy!

I use mplayer for almost a year now. try a rpm from rpmfind.net it is the easiest way to install mplayer.

Then I would recommend you kplayer as the gui for mplayer. Much better than gmplayer the default gui
