Angry Winlinux2001 in Laptop no Display

Nee help from you good people! In my new Inspiron 8100 installed the 2001 Winlinux with "lifetime support". Everything seems to work during the installation but I get the boot information in a small display then after the boot has finished I should get a desktop or a prompt but the only thing I get is colored squares with funny characters. I have tried to change the resolution uising the winlinux configuration tool but nothing seems to get me to the desired results. My video card is an "Nvidia" and yes I had to force the settings. By the way does anybody know about that "lifetime support"?
