winex or dosemu for Duke Nukem 3D ??
Got to rummaging through some old disks and found my Duke Nukem 3d cd... was wondering which would run it better.

I ran duke nukem 3d and wolfenstein 3d in doesemu no problem.
Let me know if you need my config file. It was a long time ago tho, so some things might have changed, but im preatty sure you can run duke nukem 3d in doesmu still. -NSKL |
How about the sound in Duke 3D...Did it work?
|
Nope, never got sound working, i tried tweaking it in doesemu config file, and everything looked as it should work, but DOS can never detect there is a sound card, it simply reports no sound card detected, using no sound when starting games such as wolf, duke nukem and liero. I really wish someone makes a linux port of Liero, its a great fun to play in multiplayer. There was a project to port liero over to Linux under the name NiL but it died long time ago, and it was in early stages i never got it working...
Oh well, getting carried away now... -NSKL |
