The regular wine project is free. Go to http://www.winehq.com

5 dollars a month really isnt that much to ask for a cool product like winex though.

I agree Mike. 60$ for one year ain't bad at all.
I'd rather stay home a weekend to make sure that i can renew my subscription on winex than risk meating a girl on town and *GASP* maybe have sex....

Winex is really worth it no matter how you look at it.

I don't know, but there are copies of WineX floating around on the web. I don't know if this is legal or illegal so I won't post a direct link or how to get it until I can verify that it's okay.

I think the ones floating on the net is in a grey zone.
Not legal, but not exactly illegal either. After all you can do a cvs and build your own on your own pc. I know that the Point2Play part ain't legal to use unless you've got an account (subscription) with Transgaming.
It's not that you really need P2Play though, but it's a nice part.

The subscription is a minimum of 3 months, so you could pick up a copy for fifteen dollars...or 3 double double combos from In and Out Burger.
