that is my config file for wine... all directories are correct, checked and double checked them, but i still get this error message when i try and run wine:
[r-lass@localhost r-lass]$ wine
Invalid path L"file:/home/r-lass/.wine/c/Windows" for L"windows" directory: does not exist.
Perhaps you have not properly edited or created your Wine configuration file,
which is (supposed to be) '/home/r-lass/.wine/config'.

i have the sys.ini and the other '.ini' file in the correct places, im just stumped here. i figure if i can get a fresh approach maybe i can figure this out...

all i can tell ya for that is i know when i tried to manually create the wine directorys, and although it was right it still said that to me also..i just downloaded a program called wine-tools and it sets it up for you...

then make sure C drive is in this formatYou put your C drive inside of .wine?? Anyways, trash that config. Get a new one from the extracted wine file. Only thing you need to ever change is the actuall location of the folder. The 2nd part i put, the first one you dont touch
