Wine won't run...

I'm on Mandriva 2005le..
So I downloaded the wine 0.9 and ran the install.rpm It installed fine. When I do wine run command it just sits there in the taskbar for a while turning the hourglass and eventually goes away... What do I need?

wine needs a parameter. Ex.: wine /mnt/cdrom/starcraft.exe
If you want to be sure wine is working, just type "notepad" in a terminal.
