I'm trying to install ms Office XP using Wine and i need to set the OS to Windows 98 because it says it cannot install on Windows 95.

How do i do this?

(I got Crossover Office, tried to install and got an error from it "Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for help" the title of the error was DCOM 95 for Windows 95, i think it sucks because its supposed to work and it doesn't, i'd understand if a free program had this but a commercial one?

When using cedega, you add the option --winver win98

eg:
cedega --winver win98 /mnt/cdrom/setup.exe

I've never specified a version in wine, but this might work as well.

If that doesn't work, there's always:
man wine
