The instruction at 0x422CCDDBA referenced memory at 0x00000008
The memory could not be 'read'
Is this because my installation of Warcraft or Wine that causes the problem or it was because of my SUSE OS ?
And how to fix this ?
I am totally new to Linux so pls explain in detail
Warcraft gives me errors like that sometimes, my solution has been to "flush" the memory.. So, running something very memory intensive like vmware or opening a few rhousand pictures at once.. That will flush the RAM and with a little luck, Warcraft will get a "better" memory allocation.
Also making sure you have the latest version of Wine is in order.
No, the memory area it happened to get might have been faulty.. It might remain so until it is used by some other app, hopefully working better from there on.. (This is just guesses anyways)
Ive had a nocd crack on it with no problems, don't remember the name tho.. It was one of those which had to be run and it replaced the exes all nicely.. MAke sure you patch your installation up to the latest before applying the nocd (for the right version ofcourse)
