Wine on Mandrake 9.1

when I try to run wine I get the "could not find xmessage"

when I install XFree86-Contribs, I get the message "already installed."

any Ideas?

Looks like you need the X11R6-contrib package that has xmessage in it. This should get you xmessage:

# urpmi X11R6-contrib

Or you can go through rpmdrake and pick it out if you wish.

It could mean that you need to import the GPG key used by Mandrake to sign the RPMS. Try importing Mandrake's gpg keys off CD1:

# gpg --import /mnt/cdrom/RPM-GPG-KEYS
