Wine install
I have problem installing Wine, I downloaded Wine-20030508-i686-S9.tgz then I do "tar zxvf Wine-20030508-i686-S9.tgz" this created two directories "usr" and "install" in the install directory appear a lot of .dll but now what can I do?, I tried with ./tools/wineinstall but appear bash: ./tools/wineinstall: No such file or directory. What is the problem? Thanks

well in slackware you should use:
su (root pasw..) installpkg or pkgtool and read this http://www.slackware.com/book/index....ACKAGEOVERVIEW |
Oh Jes and use this
tar -zxvf *tar.gz file* for files with extension tar.gz |
Yeah but where is the ./configure file or make ? in usr or install? just have 2 folders about wine

well dont know how about tgz package.
but you are talking about source package, just go to www.winehq.com and download the latest source from there witch ends in tar.gz not in tgz and then unpack, insall. |
